Galaxy Watch 6 Overview

Samsung has officially introduced the Galaxy Watch 6 series at its Galaxy Unpacked event in Korea, following months of leaks and rumors. Along with the Galaxy Watch 6 series, the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, and Tab S9 series (Tab S9, Tab S9 Ultra and Tab S9+) were also unveiled. Design

The Galaxy Watch 6 lineup includes two models: the Galaxy Watch 6 and the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. The Classic edition features the popular rotating bezel, while the Vanilla Galaxy Watch 6 is made of robust metal. The latest Galaxy Watch comes in Graphite and Gold colors.

This watch has Bluetooth and 4G capabilities and is available in 40mm and 44mm sizes. When compared to its predecessor, the new Galaxy Watch sports a 20% bigger display and 30% smaller bezels. For improved protection, Samsung has added Sapphire Crystal glass and a 5ATM rating.

It is scratch and water-resistant due to the 5ATM rating and Sapphire Crystal glass. Samsung’s enhanced design also makes strap changes easier, resulting in a more seamless user experience.

Display

The display has received a major boost. In comparison to the previous Galaxy Watch Series, the display is 20% larger and the bezels are 30% smaller. Both the 40mm and 44mm models use Super AMOLED panels that are 1.3 inches and 1.5 inches, respectively.
