Samsung Introduces the Fastest LPDDR5X At 8.5Gbps For Snapdragon Devices

Samsung’s latest LPDDR5X RAM to debut in Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

Samsung’s latest LPDDR5X RAM technology is getting high demand due to its low power and high-performance characteristics. With an 8.5Gbps speed, it is one of the fastest mobile RAM on the market. Combined with its low power consumption, this makes it ideal for use in next-generation Snapdragon 8 devices.

The new LPDDR5X RAM technology from Samsung is expected to be used in the next-generation Snapdragon 8 smartphone processor. This new RAM technology offers a 1.3X improvement over the current LPDDR5 standard, with the added benefit of consuming 20% less power.

This means that future Snapdragon 8 smartphones will be able to offer more powerful performance while still maintaining excellent battery life.

The certification for Snapdragon devices is what’s new. This tells users to expect Samsung’s cutting-edge DRAM in premium smartphones soon.

Samsung’s newest LPDDR5X RAM technology is expected to be featured in the next Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. This could enable total memory packages of up to 64GB in some notebook applications. This would be a significant increase from the previous generation’s 32GB limit.

In general, Samsung claims that the market for faster, smaller, and more power-efficient DRAM, such as its 8.5Gbps LPDDR5X, would expand in new markets driven by artificial intelligence applications and the metaverse, as well as modern automobiles, the data center, and a variety of other areas.
